Processing Model

Dry Market-Ready

Complete state-of-the-art dehydration and packaging lines.

Established in 1986, we are a Canadian pioneer in processing underutilized fish species and a respected leader in exporting and developing the market for North Atlantic sea cucumbers (Cucumaria frondosa).

As a quota holder and processor, we operate the largest vertically integrated sea cucumber business in North America, with direct access to 3,200 tonnes of sea cucumber and the capacity to process it all into a dry, market- ready line of products.

Today, we  employ up to 90 seasonal employees, three fishing boats from our home port, and a number of vessels across the province of Nova Scotia that harvest and supply us with high quality raw material.

Continuous Growth & Sustainable Excellence

We strive to continuously improve our harvesting and production methods and  invest in  research and development.

Vertical Integration

We control the whole supply chain so we can guarantee product origin transparency and quality. It also allows us to minimize waste and byproducts.
